Seasonal Job Fair

Interested in working for DEEP's Bureau of Outdoor Recreation?  Join us for a job fair highlighting DEEP's seasonal opportunities. This job fair is open to the public and will be held at DEEP’s Western District Headquarters in Black Rock State Park, Watertown on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  DEEP staff members from the Parks, Boating, and Environmental Conservation Police divisions will be available to speak with potential candidates.  Speak directly with our hiring managers and learn more about available positions, including maintainers, campground office staff, ticket booth attendants, boating education assistants, rangers, lifeguards and others. Assistance will be available for those who want to apply for a seasonal position on site. 

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and other CT State Agencies use a paperless Online Employment Center.  Applicants can search and apply for current job openings online via a mobile-friendly website, and receive e-mail notices about the status of each application.  The system allows candidates to create a 'Master Application' which can be updated and used to apply for multiple positions.  Mailed, emailed or faxed job applications or resumes are not accepted.   

New Users & First Time Applicants:  Register as a user and create a 'Master Application' by visiting the New User Registration webpage.  Once a Master Application is created, it can be updated and used to apply for current and future job openings.  

Returning Employees and Applicants:  Visit the 'My Applications' webpage to log in to review and create or update your Master Application.  

Applicants can also complete 'Interest Cards' to receive e-mails and/or text messages about future job openings. Interest Card selections do need to be updated annually.
