Winter Birding Walk

Join our CT State Park Naturalists on the Silver Sands boardwalk to see the unique birds found here in the winter. Gain a deeper understanding of bird identification, Important Bird Areas (IBAs), and seasonal behaviors, as well as the types of wonderful birds that live along the Connecticut shoreline. Meet us in the main parking lot and we’ll take the boardwalk down towards the beach. This walk is wheelchair accessible. 

Binoculars encouraged as we have only a limited supply available.
