Summer Seashell Scavenger Hunt

Join naturalist Danielle at Silver Sands State Park’s beach for a walk of the wrack line in search of mollusk. Meet on the boardwalk near the concessions and for some shell facts and identification materials. Then head to the sand and pool areas to see what can be found. Focus is on the mollusk group, but other creatures might be seen as well.  This is a free program and all ages are welcome.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  All participants should use sunscreen and dress appropriately, including shoes that cover toes and can get wet.
