Learn About Lava: Connecticut's Geologic History

Can you imagine a volcanically active Connecticut? We can! Join our Connecticut Traveling Environmental Educators (CTEEs) for a hike up Talcott Mountain to explore Connecticut geology in the Central Valley. Participants will walk the yellow trail (2.5 mile out-and-back trail of moderate difficulty) to enjoy the views of the mountain while discovering the geologic processes and events that led to its formation.
