Our holiday tour program is made possible due to the generous support, dedication and decorating skills of the Friends of Gillette Castle State Park.
Founded in 1998, the Friends of Gillette Castle State Park is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to the preservation, conservation, and education of the Gillette Castle and its scenic grounds, located within the Seven Sister Hills along the Connecticut River. They are always accepting new members and welcome any donations. Follow the Friends of Gillette Castle State Park Facebook page for updates on various events and appearances. Contact the Friends of Gillette Castle State Park with any questions.
Thanks to the dedicated Friends of Gillette Castle State Park, William Gillette's former home will be festively decorated this holiday season, and open to visitors who are looking to tour the Castle in all of its holiday splendor.
Holiday Castle Tours are available on weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as the Friday after Thanksgiving. Tours are available every 15 minutes from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Tickets for this popular program will available after Labor Day, and may be purchased online at Reserve America. A maximum of 12 tickets are available for each tour. Tours are self-guided and take approximately one hour. Guests should arrive at the castle five to ten minutes before your scheduled tour time. We cannot guarantee entry if your tour time has passed.
