CT State Parks Jr Lifeguard Program

Calling all 9- to 14-year-old swimmers!
Join the CT State Park Lifeguards to learn lifeguarding and water safety skills. This free, five-day program will be held offered at 4 different locations this year.
2026 Session Dates
July 13- 17 Silver Sands State Park Milford, CT
July 20-24 Rocky Neck State Park Niantic, CT
July 27-31 Hammonasset Beach State Park Madison, CT
August 3-5 Black Rock State Park Thomaston, CT
Participants must be able to complete basic swimming pre-requisites - this is not an instructional program for non-swimmers. Registration is required at the link above, and will close on June 5, 2026. Spots fill fast! For more information, please email DEEP.Lifeguards@ct.gov
