Ross Pond State Park

Killingly, CT

Ross Pond State Park occupies 314 acres abutting Old Furnace State Park. Both parks offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation, including hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, and more.

Ross Pond, the larger of the park’s two ponds, features a boat ramp and is a great spot for fishing, standup paddleboarding, and kayaking.

Hike along the blue-blazed Old Furnace Trail, which hugs the western edge of the pond and climbs to the Ross Cliffs overlook with views of Ross Pond, spanning Killingly all the way to Rhode Island.
