In the year of 1939 when World War 2 began, James L. Goodwin was here managing Goodwin State Forest, then called Pine Acres Farm. In the six years that followed, Goodwin contributed resources from the forest to the war effort. Join Chelsey Knyff from B. Historical for a 2:00pm presentation detailing what Goodwin did for the war effort. Additionally, from 11:00am to 3:00pm learn about roles of World War 2 less talked about through immersive displays led by the B. Historical team! Free and open to all ages!
