Winter Tracking

Enjoy a short hike down the Mattatuck Trail to search for wildlife tracks. Using different clues, learn about wildlife behaviors and adaptations. Discover the many animal species that make Mohawk Mountain their home, and how they interact throughout the seasonal cycles, especially now during winter months. Although there is seemingly less wildlife activity during this colder time of year, the outdoors are still teeming with life. Follow signs to Mohawk Tower at the top of Mohawk Mountain and meet us in the parking area!
