Water World: Pond Ecology

Goodwin State Forest is home to Pine Acres Pond - which is in turn home to lots of creatures, big and small. Join interpretive staff for an exploration of the life that makes up our pond ecosystem, from water beetles to great blue herons. Learn about the importance of protecting our watersheds and the impacts we can have on aquatic ecosystems. Meet at the pavilion and then journey down to the pond; be prepared to get your hands dirty!
