Mosses, lichens, and ferns - oh my! Join our interpretive staff to lean about the forest features often forgotten underfoot. Despite their size, these organisms play a vital role in the health of our forests. Up your ID game and learn fun facts about the forest understory. Be prepared for a hike around a few of the trails near the museum; roots and rocks to be expected, mostly flat terrain. Meet at the garden gazebo before hitting the trails!
