Nature Journaling and Ocean Literacy Champions

Join Val Cournoyer, trained journalling coach from Wild Wonder, as she introduces and expands on the ways journalling enhances learning.  Materials and techniques will be shared to help you gain understanding of the variety of ways journaling can be used personally and in classrooms to connect with the world around us.  A focus will be placed on addressing Ocean Literacy Principles and Environmental Literacy components. Diana Payne from Sea Grant will join to help share resources for use with all age levels. Bring lunch, dress for the weather, and expect outdoor activities.
