Firewise Forests

Discover how forests evolved with fire, how people have used fire as a tool for centuries, and why diverse, resilient forests are key to reducing wildfire risk in a changing climate.  Participants will become Firewise Forest Detectives on a short, easy walk in the woods – learning how to read the forest for clues about fire resistance, recovery, and health.  Free/open to all ages.
