Caching Food for Winter

Have you ever wondered how animals adapt to survive the winter? One winter survival adaptation that some animals have is caching food! While playing an imaginative, interactive, and outdoor game, we will learn what caching is, how it helps animals survive the winter, different caching strategies of different animals, and caching’s impact on the ecosystem. Free and open to all ages!

This program will run twice, once at 11:00am-12:30pm and again at 2:00pm-3:30pm. Meet in the Discovery Room in the white farmhouse.
